PIND in collaboration with USAID organized the Strengthening Civil Advocacy (SACE) project Niger Delta Share Out and Collective Impact Tool and Approaches Workshop for civil society organizations (CSOs) based in the Niger Delta.
PIND organized a side-event at the 24th Nigerian Economic (NES) Summit on October 23, 2018 in Abuja themed “Pioneering New Models: Systemic Human Capacity Development and Wealth Creation – Lessons from the Niger Delta”.
Partnership Initiatives in the Niger Delta (PIND) is committed to breaking the culture of silence around Violence Affecting Women and Girls (VAWG) in Nigeria through data driven approaches. This quarterly brief highlights thematic issues and provides updates on reporting of VAWG incidents in the Niger Delta, to inform prevention efforts by policy makers and practitioners.
These trackers are designed to provide update on the patterns and trends of conflict risk factors and violence as identified by the Partners for Peace (P4P) Peace Map and PIND’s SMS-based Early Warning system.
PIND hosted the 4th edition of the Niger Delta Donors and Partners’ Coordination Forum on Tuesday, 16th October 2018 in Abuja. The meeting brought together 17 attendees from various development donors and implementers working in the Niger Delta to discuss their various interventions in the region and to find common areas for collaboration.
