PIND’s communication activities aim to increase the visibility of the Foundation by getting people to know about PIND, talk about PIND, and engage with PIND, to strengthen its reputation and attract target stakeholders to support PIND’s cause, partner with PIND, fund PIND’s programs and replicate PIND’s proven models.

PROJECT UPDATES

Strategic Objectives:

To enhance PIND’s reputation and influence with key stakeholders on policies, practices and investments that help reduce conflict and poverty in the Niger Delta and contribute to achieving financial sustainability, while also managing PIND’s internal communications needs.

To support program delivery, Communications aims to achieve five main objectives:

  • Raise PIND’s identity and brand image

  • Build awareness of PIND’s capabilities and value-added services

  • Give high visibility to donors’ investments

  • Stimulate demand for PIND’s business service providers and supported inputs and technologies

Strategies:

Media for Development to promotes knowledge, attitudes and practices of target audiences to further programs development objectives, using traditional and non-traditional channels of media and communications for social and behaviour change.

Stakeholder communications to create visibility, positive image and long-term reputation for the organization among internal and external stakeholders

Knowledge management to build processes, tools and actions that connects and motivates stakeholders to create, use and share learning, expertise and proven practices to achieve organizational objectives efficiently and enhance corporate reputation.
