The Foundation for Partnership Initiatives in the Niger Delta (PIND) will host a one-day roundtable meeting on March 19, 2020 at its Economic Development Centre (EDC) Warri – Delta State, to celebrate the International Women’s Day.
). PIND has produced a total of 330 analytical products – 312 trackers and 18 exclusive issue briefings that provide a background to the main issues affecting peace and security in each of the 9 states of the Niger Delta region.
PIND and Ford Foundation piloted the Niger Delta Youth Employment Pathways (NDYEP) project in 2018 to develop models of youth training in which marginalised young people are trained in market-relevant skills and subsequently supported into sustainable jobs or enterprise.

As at the end of Quarter 4, PIND, through the support market actors (input companies, agro-dealers, service providers etc.) achieved greater scale in building capacies of the farmers, especially small-scale farmers and enterprises, increasing their access to new and efficient technologies and providing access to credit.
PIND is resolute in its commitment to promote women empowerment and gender equality including addressing Gender Based Violence (GBV). The Foundation has consistently demonstrated this through its policies and actions.
The 16 Days of Violence Against Women and Girls (VAWG) Campaign commenced today Monday, November 25 and will end on Tuesday, December 10 (Human Rights Day). PIND participated in a high level media briefing event held at the Hilton hotel Abuja today to flag off the 16 Days of Campaign.
