As part of efforts to improve the income of farmers in the Niger Delta, PIND facilitated a Nigeria Agricultural Enterprise Curriculum (NAEC) and Technical Training for cassava farmers in Adofure Community in Akure South Local Government Area of Ondo State on March 20, 2018.
The training focused on equipping farmers with knowledge on record keeping, cash flow processes and farming activity planning and projection.
So far, there has been 20 NAEC trainings in the first quarter of 2018.
With farmers adopting improved agronomic practices, it has become important for farmers to have the right business skills to maximize profit from their cassava farms.
