Biography
Sunday Omori is a development practitioner who began his career as an office administrator in the year 2000 and after three years, graduated to the position of programs officer in a local non-governmental organization. He has applied his organizational development, horizon scanning, strategic planning, leadership, project management; social and action research; data visualization and knowledge management skills in nutrition, education, market development (M4P), HIV&AIDS, socio-economic governance, adolescent reproductive health, climate change and youth entrepreneurship program areas while preparing reports to various donor agencies.
Before joining PIND as Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation Coordinator, Sunday served in the capacity of monitoring, evaluation, learning and reporting specialist in some local and international organizations including HarvestPlus Nigeria; Development Alternative Incorporated – MADE; Girls’ Power Initiative (GPI) Calabar and Partnership Opportunities for Women Empowerment Realization (POWER) managing projects and programs for results. He co-designed and implemented the M&E system for some programs including: girls’ reproductive health and life skills development program, market development program in the Niger Delta as well as commercialization of biofortified crops program.
