Soga Oduselu
Olusoga (‘Soga”) Oduselu is the General Manager, Policy, Government and Public Affairs (PGPA), of the Nigeria/Mid-Africa (NMA) Business Unit for Chevron Middle East, Eurasia and Africa Region, a role he assumed on September 1, 2024. He is based in Lagos, Nigeria.
In this role, he provides leadership in the planning and execution of the company’s strategies for stakeholder engagement, corporate communications, social investment and social issues & risk management in support of Chevron’s operations and capital projects in Nigeria and Mid-Africa.
Prior to this position, he was Terminal Superintendent, Joint Venture Operations, Nigeria/Mid-Africa Business Unit in Escravos. Soga started his Chevron career in 1998 as Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) Engineer, Environmental & Regulatory Affairs and has since held numerous positions of increasing responsibility in Facility Engineering and Major Capital Projects, Operations, Nigerian Content Development, Partner & Government Relations in Nigeria, Ghana, South Korea, and the United States in the course of his career.
Soga received his bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ife, Nigeria in 1992. Soga is happily married with children.
