Biography

Roy is a private sector and market development analyst with over 10 years of experience working across multiple market sectors in Nigeria applying the Market Systems Development (M4P) approach.

He has vast knowledge in conceptualizing, designing, implementing, and monitoring project initiatives. He has extensive career training and experience in thematic Private Sector Development approaches in frontier markets and in fragile and conflict-affected environments. He also possesses leadership, guidance, mentoring, coaching skills, and an understanding of donor engagement.

He possesses a Bachelor of technology and a Masters In Technology in Architecture, as well as a PMP professional certification. He has vast experience working on socio-economic growth and development projects that target the vulnerable, youths, poor women, and men, with a thematic focus on capacity development, youth employment, agriculture, agricultural finance, humanitarian aid, conflict resolution, improved farming/processing technologies using a market-based approach.

As Program and Intervention Manager, Roy has designed, managed, and led implementation for donors and other organizations, including but not limited to GIZ, UKAID-DFID (Department for International Development), USAID, Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, and Mercy Corps.
