Chioma Arum

Chioma has over seven years of multifunctional experience working with the private sector and international non-governmental organizations on projects funded by Propcom+, AGRA, FCDO, UNICEF, and BMZ. She has developed progressive expertise in nutrition improvement, climate adaptation and resilience, policy advocacy, peacebuilding, gender inclusion, and Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH).

Chioma holds both a Master’s and a Bachelor’s degree in Food Science and Technology. She is also a prestigious Mandela Washington Fellow with training in Leadership in Public Management as well as additional training in Project Management from the Nigerian Institute of Management; Nutrition and Food Systems from the FAO; Food Systems from Wageningen University; Innovation and Scaling from the CGIAR; and Behavioral Science in Public Policy from the World Bank.

She is passionate about commercializing sustainable, nutritious crops and foods, aiming to bridge the gap between agriculture and markets to reduce poverty and malnutrition.
