This is the second case study conducted as part of the Models of Development and Experiential Learning (MODEL) pilot project, which will serve as a compendium of analyses of development interventions. This study is based on data obtained from a household survey of Rivers Songhai Initiative (RSI) participants, focus group discussions, and in-depth interviews with key informants in paid positions within the RSI conducted by the Foundation for Partnership Initiatives in the Niger Delta (PIND) and the Nigerian Institute of Social and Economic Research (NISER) in collaboration with the Brookings Africa Growth Initiative in September of 2013.
