Communique issued at the conclusion of the 7th Niger Delta Development Forum (NDDF) held over two roundtable sessions on November 27, 2018 in Benin, Edo State & November 29, 2018 in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.
PIND in collaboration with Market Development in the Niger Delta (MADE), European Union’s Niger Delta Support Programme and other partners held the seventh edition of the Niger Delta Development Forum (NDDF) 2018 with the theme “Delivering Results: Executing a State-Led Plan”.
The NDDF 2018 builds upon successful engagements in the 2017 edition which was themed “The Future in Our Hands: A State-Led Framework for Planning & Development in the Niger Delta”, and emphasized the need for long term state-led development plans that address priority issues in the region for sustainable development while recognizing the need for local context fit solutions.>>>read more
