This quarter, PIND establishes new early warning mechanisms to stave off conflict in five Niger Delta states. The Advocacy for Niger Delta Development (ANDD) team continued planning two editions of the Niger Delta Development Forum – one in Washington, DC, and the other in Asaba, Delta State. The Business Linkages team broke new ground in its work to improve local farmers’ access to commercial market for poultry, and PIND’s local government project expanded its mandate to two more local government areas in Rivers State.
