Demonstration of Motorized Cocoa Tree Pruner in Ondo State

PIND partnered with Tulip Cocoa Processing Limited (buyers of cocoa beans) to train a total of 104 cocoa farmers in Ondo State (25 from Alade Cooperative in Idanre; 50 from Ilututun Cooperative in Ondo West; and 27 from Tonikoko Farmers Union in Bamikemo, Ile Oluji) on the suitability and effectiveness of motorized cocoa tree pruner. The training held from November 26 to 28, 2018 to increase awareness and adoption of the motorized pruner.
