PIND/NDPI Pay Courtesy Visit to Nigeria’s Ambassador to the US

The Foundation for Partnership Initiatives in the Niger Delta and its United States counterpart, the Niger Delta Partnership Initiative (NDPI) Foundation, on Friday, September 16, 2022, paid a courtesy visit to Nigeria’s Ambassador to the United States of America, Dr. Uzoma Emenike in New York.

It was an opportunity to highlight PINDs activities and impact in Nigeria’s Niger Delta region, as well as the partnerships built with the government and non-governmental organizations in the U.S. to help achieve PIND’s objectives.

The Ambassador expressed her appreciation for the visit.

The representatives of PIND and NDPI were in New York to attend the 77th United Nations General Assembly (UNGA). PIND’s Executive Director, Tunji Idowu, was interviewed at a side event hosted by Devex. He discussed how PIND facilitated sustainable development in the region and called for more collaboration and partnerships.
