PIND Foundation is seeking a firm of Chartered Accountants who have experience in accounting and auditing of development projects, especially donor funded operations. The Audit Manager should have at least ten (10) years of experience.
SCOPE OF WORK
The Audit should be conducted in accordance with the ISAs (International Standards on Auditing) to review financial transactions and documentation relating to travels, workshops, consultant engagement, payment of honorariums to participants to determine the adequacy of internal controls and financial documentation in P4P. Consultant will also develop an audit report.
SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES
The objectives of this external audit are to;
- Review financial transactions and documentation relating to travels, workshops, consultant engagement, payment of honorariums to participants to determine the adequacy of internal controls and financial documentation in P4P.
- Ascertain the adequacy of internal controls measures used in the activities under review.
- In addition the audit should ensure that established controls are adequate to safeguard the Organization’s assets, prevent and detect fraud or other irregularities.
- And to give an opinion in the report on ineligible expenditures and the financial provisions of the project.
