The Foundation for Partnership Initiatives in the Niger Delta, (PIND) seeks to engage a consultant to provide technical assistance to the Graduate Employment Enhancement Program (GEEP) of the Delta State Job Creation Agency. The purpose of this engagement is to provide technical support to the GEEP’s job readiness program to further strengthen its process of service delivery. The collaboration will help to align the Delta State Job Creation Agency program activities with Niger Delta Youth Employment Pathways (NDYEP) model through the soft skills training to improve its program outputs and results and provide candidates with improved level of preparedness for introduction into current labour market
The key activities to be covered under the engagement are as follows:
- Curriculum Development & Training of Trainers (TOT)
- Job Readiness Training
- Report on the Assignment
QUALIFICATION
Proposed lead facilitator is University degree qualified with relevant experience in capacity building and youth development programming. Experience in previous conduct of job readiness assignment is certainly desirable. Understanding of the Niger delta context and experience working in the region is important. Candidate should have at least 7 years’ work experience with good analytical and writing skills.
