PIND Foundation is sharing best practices in cassava through practical demonstrations. A total of 14, 947 men and women farmers had improved their knowledge, attitude and practices as a result of the demonstration plot intervention training.
Over 70 demonstration plots across Niger Delta states are helping farmers to tackle low yield and low productivity. Farmers are trained on correct usage of inputs like fertilizer and herbicides. The demonstration plots link farmers with agro-input companies, improved cassava stems, and show them techniques to improve their profitability.
