On January 30, 2018, PIND collaborated with Olam International to train 100 farmers in Delta State on best fish farming practices for improved quality and quantity of yield.
The training, hosted at PIND’s Economic Development Centre in Warri, was facilitated by Associate Professor Matthew Tan, an Adjunct Senior Research Fellow and Associate Professor (Aquaculture) with Centre for Sustainable Tropical Fisheries and Aquaculture (CSTFA) at the College of Science and Engineering of James Cook University, Singapore Campus.
This is part of PIND’s aquaculture value chain project designed to address constraints in the sector, stimulate considerable growth and improve the efficiency of the aquaculture sector.
