PIND in collaboration with Market Development in the Niger Delta (MADE), European Union’s Niger Delta Support Programme and other partners held the seventh edition of the Niger Delta Development Forum (NDDF) 2018 with the theme “Delivering Results: Executing a State-Led Plan”. It held over two roundtables in Benin, Edo State and Port Harcourt, Rivers State on November 27 and 29, 2018 respectively with Niger Delta States clustered by location: Ondo, Edo, Delta and Bayelsa (Western Niger Delta, in Benin); and Imo, Abia, and Akwa Ibom, Cross River and Rivers (Eastern Niger Delta, In Port Harcourt).
The States applied and pitched for a prize of technical resource support by development agencies in producing their long-term plans. A winner emerged from each zonal session: Edo in the West and Abia in the East.
