PIND facilitated a cassava demonstration plot intervention in Ndielu-Ugwueke community of Isiukwuato Local Government Area of Abia State on March 15, 2018.
Farmers were taught how to cut and treat stems, measure spaces for ridges and other best agronomic practices for better cassava yield and a chance to increase their income.
Between 2010 and 2017, PIND has reached 6,140 cassava farmers through these demonstration plot interventions under the Cassava Value Chain project.
