PIND paid an advocacy visit to the Edo State Governor and members of his economic team at the Government House in Benin City on March 22, 2019. The purpose of the visit was to present an award plaque to the State Governor for Edo State emerging one of the winners of the 2018 NDDF; to commence the process of long-term development planning in Edo State; and to constitute a Technical Committee for the development of a 25 or 30 year development plan for Edo State. The Governor appreciated PIND for its development support and pledged his administration’s commitment to ensuring that the process for developing the long-term development plan will be smooth.
