WHAT WE DO

Economic Development

Program Overview

PIND’s Economic Development Program drives inclusive and sustainable growth in the Niger Delta by tackling structural barriers that limit productivity, employment, and enterprise development.
Through four interconnected projects—Market Systems Development (MSD), Youth Employment Pathways (YEP), Access to Energy (A2E), and Access to Finance—the program empowers smallholder farmers, entrepreneurs, youth, and off-grid communities with the tools they need to generate income, expand businesses, and create lasting economic impact.
By aligning interventions with real-world challenges and leveraging strong local partnerships, the program helps build resilient markets, skilled workforces, sustainable energy access, and financial inclusion across the region.
