Abia State Governor visits PIND’s Youth Employment Pathways (YEP) Project in Aba

On Thursday, September 15, 2022, the Abia State Governor, Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu, visited IG Hub, one of PIND’s implementing partners on the Youth Employment Pathways (YEP) project in Aba, Abia State. IG Hub is currently training PIND-supported youth on information communication technology (ICT).

 

The governor met with PIND’s YEP Manager, Patrick Ekpe, and IG Hub CEO, Daniel Chinagozi. They took him on a tour of the technical and vocational education and training center. He addressed the students and commended PIND for supporting Abia State in developing the Abia State 30-Year Long-term Plan and implementing the YEP project since 2018.

He promised to support the youth skills training program by donating space at the newly built library at Umuahia and funding the ICT training program.
