On 8 March, 2017, in a short ceremony at the National Stadium in Surulere, Lagos State, our Partners 4 Peace (P4P) team gave renowned Nigerian Musician Dr. Tee Mac Iseli (MFR) an award for his peace building advocacy in the Niger Delta and made him a P4P Brand Ambassador. Besides his work in the Nigerian musical industry, Tee Mac is known for his philanthropy and his work to promote peace in the Niger Delta. Most notably, he received he received the Member of the Federal Republic (MFR) national honor from the Nigeria’s President Yar’adua in 2009 for his vital role in brokering peace with the Niger Delta militants and fighting for their rehabilitation. This Partners for Peace Award was presented by Chief Amb. Lawal Africas (Network Coordinator P4P) and Nkasi Wodu (Peace Coordinator P4P).
