Introducing PIND’s Q2 April – June 2014 Report

This report covers activities from April 1st – June 30th, 2014. During this period, PIND project NDLink marked its first six months of operation, PIND helped facilitate the promotion and sale of adjustable harvesters to improve the efficiency of palm fruit harvesting in the Niger Delta. PIND also had organization-wide trainings on conflict sensitivity that spanned its staff as well as its implementing partners. Months of extensive research in Bayelsa and Rivers States culminated in the  dissemination of findings from the Models of Development and Experiential Learning (MODEL) project, a partnership with U.S.-based Brookings Institution and Nigeria-based Nigerian Institute for Social and Economic Research (NISER) where PIND helps identify, describe, document and share development models that have obtained a perceived measure of success in the Niger Delta Region of Nigeria.
