Director General of the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) , Dr. Chikwe Ihekweazu has commended the Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Ezenwo Wike for his firm and personal leadership to check the spread of coronavirus in Rivers State.
Nigeria Petroleum Development Corporation (NPDC), in a joint effort with Natural Oil field Services Limited (NOSL), a subsidiary of STERLING OIL, has donated an ambulance along with medical supplies to support Akwa Ibom State government in combating coronavirus.
The Akwa Ibom State Government said it is planning to embark on “aggressive” COVID-19 testing for residents of the state to help the government take a decision whether to re-open the state economy or not.
