Measured by the number of fatalities per incident in year 2018, gang violence and communal conflict were the most lethal types of violence as revealed by the 2018 Niger Delta Annual Conflict Report. According to 2018 data, on the average, every incident of gang violence and inter-communal conflict resulted in at least two fatalities.
