Peacebuilding Program Manager
Nkasi Wodu is a Peace practitioner working in Nigeria and Peacebuilding Program Manager of the Foundation for Partnership Initiatives in the Niger Delta (PIND). He facilitates the Partners for Peace Network (P4P), a network of over 5,000 peace actors in the Niger Delta region. P4P establishes grassroots led community initiatives in order to contribute to the reduction of violence as a key constraint to economic growth in the Niger Delta. He is a skilled trainer, and has provided capacity building and mentorship to hundreds of peace actors in the region. He leads in the implementation of PIND’s early warning and early response architecture. He is a trained Lawyer, called to the Nigerian Bar, an Alumni of the Prestigious Kofi Annan International Peacekeeping Training Center in Accra, a certified mediation trainer and practitioner from the Institute of Chartered Mediators and Conciliators (Nigeria) and holds a Master’s degree in Peace and Conflict Studies from the University of Port Harcourt. He came to PIND with lots of skills and expertise working in various communities in the Niger Delta. He worked as an Advocacy Officer in Academic Associates Peace Works and also as a Program Officer with the Institute of Human Rights and Humanitarian Law (IHRHL).
